learning to trust God with my future
Today at PCC, I talked with an advisor about the degree I want to pursue: Vet Technology. I love animals, as you all know, and enjoy science so it seems like an ideal thing for me to pursue. However, there are so many thing that I have to do to get into the program. I have to trust God completely and if that is what He wants me to do, then He will open the doors. Not only is it a competitive program, but most students applying already have college degrees. They are practically guaranteed a spot in the program. Only 25 students are accepted each year, and 50 to 80 students apply. Basically I won't know if I've gotten into the program until June. Which is too late to apply somewhere else so I have to think about Plan B and Plan C now and trust that God will do the rest. It's comforting to know that God will show me His will. I just have to be patient and willing to see His plan unfold in my life. Pray for me, as I strive to meet the necessary requirements and deadlines. It is going to be very streching for me, but I know I will have MANY stories to share with you of God's continuing faithfulness in my life!
